ST. LOUIS • The man who was killed after being struck by a MetroLink train on Saturday night has been identified by police and a relative as Casey J. Turner, 26, of St. Louis County.

Turner lived in the 4100 block of Rain Ridge Court near Bella Villa in St. Louis County, according to police and Turner's cousin, Katie Isaacs of Affton.

Police said Turner appears to have been walking on the tracks about 10 p.m. Saturday near the 3100 block of Spruce Street.

Turner worked as general manager of a Club Fitness center in University City, Isaacs said. He apparently was out celebrating Cinco de Mayo on Saturday with a female friend when he was struck by a MetroLink train on Saturday night, she added.

"He was just the most loving person ever," Isaacs said of her cousin. "He brought so much excitement to the room in everything he did."
