A St. Ann teenager has admitted secretly taking photos and videos of partially nude fellow students at Ritenour High School.
For his crimes, Dalton Heinle was sentenced to by five years' probation. He was also sentenced to two months of house arrest, but was given credit for time served.
Heinle, 19, of St. Ann, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Friday in St. Louis County Circuit Court.
Heinle, who lived in the 3500 block of St. Christopher Lane, was charged with nine counts of second-degree invasion of privacy.
Court documents say he told Breckenridge Hills police that he made the images of other male students from March 2010 to April 2011. Ritenour officials say he was suspended after his arrest in April of 2011.
Heinle's father, Virgil Heinle, was charged with tampering with evidence. Police say the father tried to dispose of a computer containing the images. He pleaded guilty in May and was put on probation.
At the son's sentencing Friday, the judge said the son may associate with his father, and that the son may serve his probation term in Kansas, where he now attends college.
