ST. LOUIS • The owner of a store that sold counterfeit clothing was sentenced Tuesday to three years of probation and a $1,000 fine.
Sang Joon Yoon, 50, was indicted in March and accused of selling fake shoes and clothing purporting to be real True Religion, Ed Hardy, Coogie or Timberland items from his store, Cool Fashion, at 10797 New Halls Ferry Road in Ferguson.
Yoon pleaded guilty to on count of trafficking in counterfeit goods on Aug. 31, but his plea agreement was sealed. Assistant U.S. Attorney John M. Bodenhausen filed a sealed Monday. He declined to comment on the subject of the motion Tuesday.
Yoon lawyer Ken Schwartz declined to comment on the case.
