EAST ST. LOUIS • Prosecutors charged Stanley T. Chairs III today with first degree murder for the April shooting death of 22 year-old Joshua L. Miller.

Miller was shot on April 23 while working as a security guard in the 1200 block of Cleveland Avenue in East St. Louis. Miller was working as a guard for KLM Security at the Sinai Village redevelopment project.

Chairs, 18, is currently jailed at the East St. Louis Police Department.
