HOUSE SPRINGS • A man allegedly hid a video camera in the ceiling of a women's bathroom in a grocery store here and may have made other recordings elsewhere in Jefferson County, the sheriff's office said Monday.
Frank Fuchs, 51, of the 6600 block of Bandstand Lane in Cedar Hill, is charged with invasion of privacy. A store employee found the camera Sunday afternoon in the Price Chopper store in the 4600 block of Gravois Road in House Springs.
A store employee identified Fuchs from photos taken from the camera. Fuchs was not a store employee.
Anyone who used the women's bathroom at Price Chopper between noon and 1:30 p.m. Sunday is asked to call the sheriff's office at 636-797-5515.
Capt. Ron Arnhart would not elaborate on where any other recordings may have been made, saying only it was under investigation.
