ST. LOUIS • St. Louis police are looking for a person shown in a surveillance video setting fire to a vehicle where a dead body was later discovered. The incident happened on Sept. 4 in an alley in the 1700 block of North 20th Street.

At about 6:30 p.m. that day, firefighters were called to the scene of a car with a fire in the passenger compartment, and discovered the body of a man in the driver's seat when they put out the fire. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

He was later identified as Darnell Robinson, 24, of the 900 block of Maple Place in St. Louis.

Police originally believed the person who set the fire was a woman, but later determined it was a man.

The person is shown in the video being dropped off near the scene, walking to the car with a red gas can, setting fire to the car, and then running away.
