FORISTELL • A disabled teenage girl who died in her bed after a fire destroyed her family's house in Foristell on Saturday was identified as Moira Ryan, 19, according to the St. Charles County Medical Examiner's office.

Ryan used a wheelchair, officials said. Her two brothers and a family friend, who were also home at the time, made it out safely. One brother was treated for smoke inhalation and relased and the family friend was taken to a hospital to be treated for burns, New Melle Fire Chief Rick Massey said.

Firefighters received a call about the fire in the 1500 block of Meinershagen Road around 12:15 p.m. State fire officials were investigating.
