VALLEY PARK • Valley Park Alderman Aaron Levinson was arrested Thursday on suspicion of DWI and resisting/interfering with arrest.

St. Louis County police say Levinson, who will turn 40 on Wednesday, was stopped at 11:40 p.m. at Highland Village and Kilbrannan drives on a traffic violation.

He ran from police but was apprehended without incident, officials said.

Levinson, of the 200 block of Highland Village Drive, failed a field sobriety test, police say.

Levinson is listed as Valley Park's 4th Ward alderman on the city's website. City officials could not be reached for comment due to the holiday.
