ST. LOUIS • At least one Occupy St. Louis sympathizer wants to make sure Mayor Francis Slay is paying attention.
The same day the mayor dispatched six aides to listen to concerns from the anti-Wall Street outfit camped out in Kiener Plaza, an online poster purporting to be a supporter of the group unveiled what appeared to be hacked information from Slay's website.
"YOU CAN REMOVE US FROM KEINER [sic] PLAZA, BUT NOT FROM YOUR SYSTEMS!" the poster wrote on Tuesday.
The poster claimed affiliation with the hacking network Anonymous, which has taken credit for infiltrating the computer network for the transit system in Oakland.
The information leaked from MayorSlay.com does not appear to contain any sensitive city information; the site is run by Slay's campaign, not his official office.
Still, the hacked info includes the names and contact info for dozens of Slay supporters, including addresses, phone numbers and e-mails.
Slay campaign spokesman Richard Callow said no financial info was leaked.
"It gave our web guy a chance to earn his retainer," Callow said. "I sort of doubt it was done by a member of Occupy St. Louis. Our experience with them has generally been more positive."
The mayor, whose staff met with Occupy participants for more than two hours on Tuesday, is not asking protestors to leave Kiener Plaza, but he does want them to take down the tents.
