The National Weather Service predicts rain and scattered thunderstorms today, tonight and Thursday. Temperatures will be in the 70s this morning and warming up to the 80s later today.
After the rains, cooler air is coming. It's setting up for a great weekend -- with highs in the 70s through Sunday. Specifically, forecasters say Friday looks like it will be dry, partly cloudy and with a high only reaching 76. On Saturday, they'll calling for sunny and 74. A near repeat for Sunday: sunny and 79 for a high.
Monday, Labor Day, is expected to get back into the 80s. The weather service expects Monday to see 86. The longer-range forecast is for the mid-80s all of next week with no rain.
