ST. LOUIS • Tammeria Patrick, 48, of Florissant, pleaded guilty to a felony wire fraud charge Wednesday in federal court here and admitted embezzling $170,000 from her employer, the U.S. Attorney's office said.

Patrick, the former accounting manager of a security-related business, had $157,537 in payroll checks made payable to herself and used a business credit card for personal expenses of $9,433, as well as having the company pay $3,087 in insurance premiums for a non-eligible employee, prosecutors said.
