Man robs bank in Wright City

WRIGHT CITY • Investigators are looking for a man who robbed the FMB Bank in Wright City on Wednesday.

Police say that just before 9:30 a.m., the man entered the bank, at 100 Veterans Memorial Parkway, approached the teller and presented a demand note.

The robber said he was armed but did not show a weapon. He left after taking an undisclosed amount of money.

He is described as white, and could be between 55 and 60 years old and weighed between 170 and 180 pounds. He has thin lips, a fair complexion, and was wearing a red baseball cap with a "DC" logo, a navy jacket over a blue top, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
