Post-Dispatch reporter Patrick M. O'Connell had a fascinating story in today's edition about a St. Peters man who faces criminal charges in his buddy's suicide.
The story, which you can read by clicking this line, is about two men who apparently had a suicide pact. Jacob Runge of St. Peters, is said to have backed out of the agreement after handing a gun to his friend, Alex Harkins of Hazelwood, who then fatally shot himself.
It should be noted that Harkins' parents say they aren't fully convinced their son took his own life.
