Percentage of gifted students by district

Cuts in the federal budget eliminated the only federal grant for gifted education, and Missouri ended state funding for gifted education in 2006. Of the state’s 522 school districts, fewer than 60 percent report any gifted programming. Search by district and year to see how many gifted students are being served in Missouri.

NOTE: Some districts are reporting that these numbers are not accurate. These figures were the most recent available from the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
