Voting has ended. The birdline is: A place to call home?
The St. Louis Cardinals have spent $1 million in recent years for a museum that hasn't been open to the public or had a phsycial home since 2008.
Plans for a grand exhibit space near the stadium as part of the proposed Ballpark Village have languished as that development remains stalled.
Now, in the quest to keep Cardinals history current, an online museum is debuting and an exhibit of about 100 items is going to the Clinton Presidential Library in Arkansas.
The exhibit, "Play Ball! The St. Louis Cardinals," runs from March 3 to Sept. 16. The exhibit will feature items from Dizzy Dean, an Arkansas native. and the library is adding to the exhibit a jersey Stan Musial and other Cardinals officials presented President Bill Clinton during a White House visit.
Visit stltoday.com later or read Friday's Post-Dispatch to find out how to view the online museum.
