Voting has ended. Saturday's bird line is Happy birdday.

Saturday is the big day: 111. This "birdday" extends my reign as the oldest continuously running daily cartoon in American journalism. I hatched on a very cold day in 1901 — tomorrow's temperatures look to be just as chilly.

Vote now on what I should say about my 111th birthday — the bird line with the most votes at 8 p.m. will appear on the front page of Saturday's paper.

Thanks to all who attended my "birdday" party last night at 4 Hands Brewing Co.! It was great to see so many friends!

The Weatherbird has appeared on the front page of the Post-Dispatch for 110 years. He's a big fan of social media and puns: Follow him on Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, Foursquare, Google+ and LinkedIn.
