“Campaign disclosure ‘in real time’ " by Sens. Ron Wyden and Lisa Murkowski (Dec. 30) addresses the anonymous nature of unregulated corporate spending initiated by the Citizens United decision. The suggestion that such spending be more transparent is not enough.

In addition, I would add legislation that would prevent political contributions from any corporation or individual whose major financial interests lie outside the U.S. Such corporations and individuals are constantly confronted with decision-making that might in some way affect their foreign investments.
