Grover Norquist represents and is financed by the wealthiest people and the largest corporations in America. He inspires fear and obedience in 95% of Republican senators and representatives. They have signed pledges of "no new taxes" (on the rich-- or else!). The money that backs Norquist will destroy any Republican legislator in a primary election by financing a compliant competitor if the legislator reneges on the pledge. To allow such power will break the back of our America and return us to medieval times---two classes: rich and poor--nothing in between.
