COUNTERTOP COOKING: I can be a bit of a minimalist when it comes to kitchen equipment. My oven isn't self-cleaning (that was a mistake). My toaster has two slots. And my kitchen is on the small side, so I don't want to clutter it up. That said, this DeLonghi Digital Convection Toaster Oven looks like a great addition to the countertop. The oven heats up quickly and has an interior light so I can see how the cooking is going. And yes, it even makes toast, with settings for two, four or six pieces ($109.99) at Costco.com.
