O'Fallon, Mo.- Jim Curran, Managing Director of Economic Development for O'Fallon, was recently re-elected to two positions on the Missouri Economic Development Council (MEDC): the MEDC Board of Directors, and as the Director of MEDC District 5. District 5 represents the municipalities in the counties of St. Louis, St. Charles, Lincoln, Warren, Franklin, Montgomery and Jefferson as well as the city of St. Louis. This year marks the fourth time that Mr. Curran has been elected to these positions.

The election occurred at the annual meeting of the MEDC, a statewide not-for-profit association of economic development professionals and community leaders. MEDC serves as an authoritative voice in Missouri on economic development and related issues, and works in cooperation with the Missouri Governor's Office, Missouri Legislature, Missouri Department of Economic Development, The Missouri Partnership, the Hawthorn Foundation and other organizations.
