Is Hubble Worth The Trouble?

St. Louis, Mo. - Since 1990, the Hubble Space Telescope has amazed us with breath-taking images of the universe. The Hubble is now in dire need of repair and a servicing mission is a costly, risky adventure. Can we afford to invest in repairing the Hubble.

David Ritchey, Associate Director of the James S. McDonnell Planetarium, presents "Is Hubble Worth The Trouble?" from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17 at the St. Louis Science Center. The cost is $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers. The cost also includes complimentary beverage ticket and light snacks. Cash bar will be available and parking is free.
