Mike Shiley, an award-winning filmmaker and Smithsonian inductee, will look at issues surrounding immigration during his lecture and film presentation, "Solving Immigration: The Truth Is Out There," Wednesday, Jan. 23, at St. Louis Community College-Meramec, 11333 Big Bend Road.
The film will begin at 7 p.m. in the Student Center on campus, followed by a question-and-answer session. The event is free and open to the public.
Shiley is considered one of America's top experts on uncovering and solving the biggest political problems that face the world today, including illegal immigration and the war in Iraq.
