INTRODUCE YOUR CHILD TO THE NATURAL WORLD
AT PARK EXPLORER KIDS CLUB THIS SUMMER
St. Charles County Parks Department - The St. Charles County Parks Department offers two
week-long day camps that encourage your child to learn about the outdoors and environment. The Park Explorers Kids Club is open to children in first through fifth grades. Hosted at Shelter #1 in Quail Ridge Park, sessions of the popular program will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., on June 9-13 and July 14-18.
For a $40 registration fee, Park Explorer Kids Club members will discover the outdoors by exploring the prairies, trails, and waterways surrounding Quail Ridge Park. Program activities will include plant/animal identification, wildflower discovery, fishing, nature-themed crafts, and other outdoor activities. In addition, a picnic lunch is provided during the closing ceremony on Friday.
Advanced registration is required, as each session of the Park Explorers Kids Club is limited to 30 participants. For questions or registration, please call the St. Charles County Parks Department at (636) 949-7535.
