(St. Peters, MO) The St. Louis Chinese Baptist Church youth is gearing up for this year's mission trip. Each year, they participate in the World Changers (see www.World-Changers.net) mission trip to help impoverished families with home improvement and repair projects like roofing or siding, and witness to them about Christianity. This year they're traveling to Hannibal, MO on July 25.
To help pay for travel, food and material expenses, the group has been doing various fundraising efforts over the past few months, including car washes and bake sales. Their most important fundraising event, however, is coming up on July 18th. They will be hosting a performance concert and the public is invited to attend. Performances will range from solos to ensembles and from classical to contemporary music. Every dollar raised during the event will go toward funding their mission trip.
The concert will be held at the St. Louis Chinese Baptist Church at 908 Jungermann Rd, St Peters on July 18th at 7:00pm. Ticket price is $5 at the door, with refreshments available for purchase.
