Grant Lanham, operations specialist with Vertegy, a St. Louis-based sustainable consulting firm, has been appointed President for the St. Louis Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). Lanham will be officially installed during the organization's chapter meeting on July 22nd at Solae.
As President of IFMA's St. Louis Chapter, Lanham will be in charge of directing, managing and conducting the business of the association and preparing the chapter's annual recertification package. A LEED Accredited Professional, Lanham has worked in operations and facility management for approximately fifteen years and is in charge of providing support to project teams to ensure compliance with sustainable design and construction practices for each client.
IFMA, which was formed in 1980, is the world's largest association for professional facility managers, supporting more than 19,000 members in 60 countries. The organization certifies facility managers, conducts research, provides educational programs, recognizes facility management degree and certificate programs and produces Word Workplace, the world's largest facility management conference and exposition.
The other officers recently elected to lead IFMA's St. Louis Chapter include: Vice President Vicki Woodside, Treasurer Julie Keil, Secretary Jim Stueber and Immediate Past President John Von Fange.
