Yank and Limey Helps Stage Promotion of COCA's Family Theatre Series

Local marketing strategy and design firm creates innovative solution to communicate the new season of family-friendly live theatre

St. Louis, MO - August 19, 2009 - Yank and Limey, a strategic, branding and design firm based in St. Louis, recently created a direct marketing program for the Center of Creative Arts (COCA). The program promotes COCA's annual lineup of live theatre that is specifically targeted at the family. To communicate the new lineup of shows, COCA contracted with the experts at Yank and Limey to develop a unique, memorable direct marketing piece that would attract audiences of all ages.

COCA relied on the skills of Yank and Limey's creative director, Ben Franklin, a British-born branding expert, who just recently became a United States citizen. Franklin, having worked in agencies from London to St. Louis, leveraged his experience and design skills to develop the piece, which was a self-mailing poster showcasing photography of each upcoming performance as well as visually blending each show's compelling storyline to generate excitement as well as ticket sales.

Nancy Goldstein, director of marketing for COCA, commented, "Yank and Limey was a pleasure to work with. Detail oriented, creative, and willing to work with our budget. The project was delivered on time and our many, many changes were handled cheerfully. What more could a client ask for?"

Since the COCA Family Theatre Series was founded in 1990, the series has presented a wide range of theatre, music and dance offerings in an eight-month season of works from around the world. In the spirit of COCA's mission, tickets have been made affordable so that families from the entire St. Louis community can experience the joy and delight of live theatre.

"The project was particularly challenging based on the need to convey the excitement and drama of live performances and do so in a single, compact package," stated Franklin. "But the result speaks for itself," he added. To review this campaign and more, visit http://www.yankandlimey.com/.
