Lamboo gets ICC Aproval

LAMBOO INC. GETS INTERNATIONAL CODE COUNCIL APPROVAL

 

Engineered Bamboo Seen as Shining Star in Eyes of ICC-ES

 

Springfield-

Luke Schuette President of Lamboo, Inc. met with the International Code Council (ICC-ES) on June 3, 2009 in Birmingham, Ala. to present the process, research and development and uses for engineered bamboo to be used for structural applications in architectural and construction fields.  The vote passed and proceedings found that Lamboo LVB (laminate veneer bamboo) will be a new ICC accredited product for 2010. Lamboo has been approved to complete a report release under ICC- ES, AC 47 for the structural use of engineered bamboo in buildings.  The report is expected to be released November of 2009.

 

With ICC approval and continual research and development, Lamboo is ready to hit the market full force with the launch of its window and door systems and structural beams leading the forefront.   Bamboo has been used for finished applications only, up until this point.  The strength and sustainability factors Lamboo offers will be the new wave of design for architects and engineers to come.

 

Now being backed by the ICC, Lamboo is opening its doors to new possibilities and innovations.  With a board of directors of diverse backgrounds from architects, to engineers, biotechnologist, and material scientist, Lamboo is set up to be a leader in the engineered bamboo industry.
