American Society for Testing and Materials Recognizes Value of Sustainable Product

Luke Schuette Lamboo, Inc. President, was named a chairman for the board of Renewable Products for the American Society of Testing and Materials and is leading the initiative to create engineered bamboo standards for the world to follow.  The ASTM has had standards for wood, steel, and aluminum but not bamboo.  ASTM has designated an entirely new standard number ASTM D07.02.03 to establish standards to be set forth, for the future use of engineered bamboo as a structural material.
