St. Louis Agency Partners With Village Roadshow for U.S. Launch of Gold Class Cinema

SAINT LOUIS -St. Louis' largest full-service advertising agency, Rodgers Townsend, is helping Village Roadshow Limited, Inc. introduce their upscale chain of movie theaters, Gold Class Cinema, to the United States.

Village Roadshow operates core businesses in theme parks, movie production, film and DVD distribution, cinema and radio. They tapped Rodgers Townsend through the Omnicom network of advertising agencies to launch the first two Gold Class Cinemas in November of this year.

Chicago and Seattle suburban hotspots, South Barrington, Ill. and Redmond, Wa., respectively, are the future sites of a movie theater experience that will surpass any America has seen to date. Gold Class Cinema chains are luxury cinema experiences where customers can valet their vehicle, order premium food from plush, fully reclining seats, and sip cocktails of their choice with first-class service during movie viewing.

Rodgers Townsend, in association with DDB Chicago, has partnered with Village Roadshow since July 2008 in preparation for the launch of Gold Class Cinema this November. The St. Louis-based agency is providing direct marketing and mass advertising services to Gold Class Cinema, primarily targeting a core business base and the elite moviegoer for a blockbuster night at the movies.

Rodgers Townsend is renowned for the strategic creativity that has built their business-to-business prowess, and has more insight into the small business arena than any other ad agency in the country. That b-to-b expertise will be exercised in direct mail to businesses prior to the launch, prompting area enterprises to plan their next company event at Gold Class Cinema with the promise that "your business events will never be the same." The next rollout of Gold Class Cinema theaters will occur in spring 2009 in select cities in Florida and Texas.
