FINE DOG CREATIVE EARNS SEVERAL NATIONAL AWARDS

ST. LOUIS, MO (October 7, 2009) – Local graphic design firm Fine Dog Creative recently took home four American Graphic Design Awards for excellence in visual communication and design. Over 8,000 entries from U.S. – based advertising agencies, graphic design firms, and corporate in-house creative departments were reviewed for the prestigious award, and only a small percentage were recognized.

Fine Dog Creative garnered American Graphic Design Awards in the categories Logos, Trademarks & Symbols and Brochures & Collateral.

The winning entries will be featured in Graphic Design USA’s 2009 Design Annual issue in December.

“We are very honored to be recognized by our industry with these Awards. It means a lot when a small firm can compete creatively on a level playing ground with larger firms and agencies nationwide” says Bryan McAllister, Creative Director.

McAllister has received dozens of such awards and publications for his work. “It’s always good to have your work judged as worthy by people with high aesthetic standards” says McAllister “but awards are not the goal. I had a client tell me that their product line was selling above their high projections and attributed that to my design. I’ll take that over a certificate for the wall or a little statue any day.”

The three-decade-old American Graphic Design Awards is considered one of the most highly esteemed competitions in the graphic design community.
