Wine Dinner at The Crossing July 7th to Benefit Slow Food St. Louis

The Crossing restaurant in Clayton will host a Wine Dinner on Tuesday evening, July 7th, featuring four great wines from the Northwest and one from California.

These wines will be paired with food prepared by chef Jim Fiala.  Menu items will include grassfed beef tenderloin from Rain Crow Ranch in Doniphan (Missouri), cheeses from Goatsbeard Farm in Harrisburg (Missouri) and Missouri Chanterelle mushrooms garnished with herbs from Yellow Tree Farms in Affton.

Wines to be served:

Ransom "Select" Pinot Gris '08, Willamette Valley, Oregon.

Ransom "Select" Pinot Noir '06, Willamette Valley, Oregon.

Murphy's Law White '07, Columbia Valley, Washington state.

Murphy's Law Red '06, Columbia Valley, Washington state.

SNAFU Red wine '05, California.

Wines are furnished by Local Wine Company.

Proceeds of this wine dinner will benefit Slow Food St. Louis.  (www.slowfoodstl.org.)  Cost of the dinner is $75/person, plus tax and tip.  To make your reservation, please call The Crossing at 314-721-7375.
