St. Louis - On Wednesday, July 1, career experts from the St. Louis region will offer free, confidential resume consultation to interested job seekers, especially those recently laid off, in the Grand Hall at the Marriott Union Station from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Those interested in this free expert service should bring a copy of their current resume. Services will be provided on a first come, first served basis and it is open to the public.

This event is part of the National Career Development Association (NCDA) Annual Conference in St. Louis, July 1-3, 2009 at the Marriott Union Station. NCDA promotes the career development of all people over their lifespan and was founded in 1913.

NCDA is the voice for thousands of career counselors who deliver professional career services to diverse individuals in many different settings, including schools, universities, businesses, community agencies, and private practice. Over 1,000 career professionals will attend the conference here in St. Louis. NCDA members are professionally trained counselors with many trained in graduate level counseling programs with a specialty in career counseling. They may be licensed by state counselor licensure boards or certified by either NCDA as Master Career Counselors or the National Board for Certified Counselors as Career Development Facilitators.
