Hercules Clearview Window Cleaning Company has aquired a new method to clean curtain wall and flat surfaced buildings. Hercules Clearview, which has been cleaning windows in St. Louis since 1963, now has found a way to be more efficient in their industry. They are putting a 7 ft wide machine that pumps purified water and scrubbs up and down the building into action. This machine is one of 6 in the United States. The machine is operated by two men, one on the roof, and one on the ground, with remote controls. The machine is on a hoist system and ascends and desceds the building one a single cable. Office building tennants and property managers have been fascinated and it has allowed Hercules Clearview Window cleaning General Manager Joe Corley to save his customers from the liability risk headaches that come with traditional window cleaning methods. 27 year veteran window cleaner, Mike Reynard of Hercules Clearview says "I've been cleaning windows for 27 years, and I initially didn't think this machine would work, but after running it on several building, I'm impressed with the clean results that it gives".
