St. Louis - Assistance League of St. Louis, a nonprofit volunteer service organization, will host its 10th Annual Golf Classic on May 18, 2009 at the Greenbriar Hills Country Club, 12665 Big Bend Boulevard in Kirkwood. Included in the event will be lunch, golf, dinner, silent and live auctions and attendance prizes. Proceeds from the Golf Classic will benefit Assistance League community programs: Operation School Bell® (clothes for kids), Steps to Success (shoes for kids), Operation Hug (teddy bears for hearts to hug), Project ROSE (support for abused women), My Own Fun Stuff (cheer-up kits for kids) and Assistance League Outreach (responding to unexpected challenges). Our programs provide real services for real people, right here at home.
