Assistance League® of St. Louis Honors Local Realtor
Presents Jeanne Belle with Ada Edwards Laughlin Award
St. Louis - Assistance League of St. Louis, a nonprofit volunteer service organization, announced at its May annual meeting that the prestigious Ada Edwards Laughlin Award would be presented to a local realtor for only the third time in the organization's 20 years of service.
Jeanne Belle, charter member of Assistance League and local Realtor, was chosen to receive this award. Jeanne has been a member of the board, served on numerous committees, and worked to promote Assistance League through real estate agencies. She has given outstanding enthusiasm to the many fundraising events in her 20 years of service to Assistance League of St. Louis.
The Ada Edwards Laughlin Award honors a member of Assistance League who gives outstanding service in relatively inconspicuous ways. The Ada Edwards Laughlin award is named for the cofounder of National Assistance League who worked tirelessly with Mrs. Hancock Banning, who is the founder of Assistance League.
Assistance League's community projects are Operation School Bell®, Steps to Success, Operation Hug, Project ROSE, My Own Fun Stuff and Assistance League Outreach. These programs are examples of Assistance League's philanthropic efforts to serve the needs of children and adults in the St. Louis community.
