<St. Louis>, <Missouri>, <September 18, 2008> - The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis announced today that interest-free loans totaling more than $3.2 million were granted to 700 students for the 2008-09 term. Repayment of the interest-free loans will be spread over a five-year period following a one-year grace period post-graduation. With educational costs rising and recent uncertainty in loan markets, these loans are a determining factor for many when deciding whether or not to pursue higher education.  Applications are currently being accepted through November 17, 2008 to fund the spring semester 2009.
