Trivers Associates Selected as Architect for Saint Louis Club Renovation

St. Louis, Mo. (June 9, 2008) - Trivers Associates, an architectural design firm with locations in St. Louis, MO and Edwardsville, IL, has been named as the architect for the renovation of the Saint Louis Club, the venerable private dining facility, in downtown Clayton, MO.

The 3,400-square foot project will include renovations to the dining, bar, and lobby spaces of the 15th floor of the prestigious Saint Louis Club.  Trivers will be coordinating the architectural and engineering aspects while working with the interior design firm of Ferry, Hayes, & Allen of Atlanta, and the McMahon Group, Inc., a consulting firm that has worked with more than 1,200 private clubs around the world.

Alan A. Ferry, a designer for some of the nation's finest private clubs, was responsible for the initial planning of the Saint Louis Club's eighteenth century decor when it opened in 1964.  Ferry-Hayes Designers were also the interior designers when the Club expanded in 1988.

In addition to its elegant dining room, Saint Louis Club offers three floors of meeting space, designed to convey the city's French heritage.  The beautifully decorated rooms accommodate business and social events for groups from two to three hundred, as well as offering creative Club sponsored events.  The Club is renowned for serving consistently high quality food in a comfortable atmosphere, accompanied by fine service.  It is a Platinum Club of America, ranking it among the top 5% of all city clubs nationally by the Club Leader's Forum Report.

"We are planning a construction timetable of under four months so as to minimize the disruption of the Club's food service to this dining room and to keep other spaces of the Club, above and below, functioning throughout the renovation," said Joseph Brinkmann, AIA, Trivers Vice President and Director of Projects.
