I Scream for Ice Cream Bicycle Ride

Edwardsville, Ill. - Join Trailnet's Bicycle Fun Club for the Ice Cream Bicycle Ride on Sunday, July 13. Registration for the ride is 7:30 - 9 a.m. at The Cyclery and Fitness Center, 2472 Troy Road (Route 159), Edwardsville. Choose routes of 23, 35 or 44 miles.

Enjoy a beautiful ride on flat to rolling country roads. All routes include a rest stop at Annie's Frozen Custard where we all will be screaming for ice cream! The ride ends near Culver's, cool off with a chilled treat. Cyclists receive a discount at Annie's and Culver's on their favorite frozen custard! The routes are on roads and portions of the Madison County Transit Trails.

The ride fee for Trailnet members is $8, non-member tickets are $12, and children under 13 are $3. A limited supply of discount ride tickets is available at The Cyclery and Fitness Center, http://www.thecyclerys.com/. Services provided include a SAG (service and gear) support until 3 p.m., mechanic, route markings and map.

Directions to the start: From St. Louis take I-55/70 north to exit #15B (IL-159) North. Continue for 5.6 miles, cross Goshen Road and The Cyclery and Fitness Center is on the right.
