Barbara Mueller has been named interim principal of Parkway's Mason Ridge Elementary School, effective July 1, 2008.  Mueller has been the assistant principal at Parkway's Shenandoah Valley Elementary School since July of 2001.  Prior to that position, Mueller was an administrative intern at Mason Ridge Elementary from 1999 to 2001.  She also served as a counselor at Mason Ridge for 13 years.   

Mueller received a B.S from Fontbonne University in 1970, and a Masters in Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1980.  Mueller received her professional counselor license in 1988 and the advanced principal certification in 2004 from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Mueller replaces Dr. Sunny Newland, who recently retired.
