St Louis Elks Lodge #9, The Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks, located one mile east of Bellerive Country Club at 12481 Ladue Rd in Creve Coeur will be offering parking and a shuttle service to and from the entrance of the golf tournament being held September 2nd through September 7.
With just under 1 million members in more than 2,000 lodges across the country, the Elks are one of the largest and most active fraternal organizations in the world. The Elks are involved in a wide variety of programs, from scholarships to drug education to Veterans Services.
The mission of The Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks is to help Elks build stronger communities. They fulfill this pledge by investing in communities where Elks live and work. They provide tomorrow's leaders, our youth, with a healthy beginning; honor the Elks pledge to never forget our veterans; help the state Elks associations accomplish their charitable objectives and fund projects that improve the quality of life in local Elks communities.
All Elks value the belief that charity is the greatest of all virtues and that by sharing and giving we have the power to replace sorrow and despair with hope and confidence.
The St Louis Elks Lodge #9 is asking for a $20.00 donation for parking and shuttle service to help them fund programs that match the cornerstone values of knowledge, integrity and community.
