The Fort Zumwalt South girls basketball team hasn't played a game as part of the Gateway Athletic Conference North yet, but they're already being viewed as the front-runner to win the title.
The North team hammered the South 10-2 in the 26th annual Missouri Athletic Club High School All-Star Soccer game Thursday at the Anheuser-Busch Center.
The Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association released its final rankings of the season this week. State champions CBC (Class 4), DuBourg (Class 3) and Crystal City (Class 2) all finished ranked first in their respective classes.

The Zumwalt South baseball team used its impressive pitching staff to win its final nine games of the 2009 season and capture the Missouri Class 4 championship.
