ATLANTA - Center fielder Colby Rasmus mashed two home runs within a career night and starting pitcher Adam Wainwright reached his oft-delayed 18th win Thursday as the Cardinals unleashed a 15-hit barrage in a 11-4 win over the Atlanta Braves.

Rasmus hit a solo home run to lead off the fifth inning and followed with another in the ninth inning to complete a four-hit, four-RBI night.

Wainwright allowed three first-inning runs before facing the minimum 21 hitters in his final seven innings.

Second baseman Skip Schumaker capped a five-run second inning that erased a 3-0 Braves lead. The Cardinals reached double-digit hits for the first time in 13 games. They had hit only .197 in the previous 12 games.

The Cardinals push for their sixth consecutive win this season against the Braves tonight behind Chris Carpenter.
