Reds pitcher Johnny Cueto, who kicked Cardinals catcher Jason LaRue and put him on the disabled list when the teams clashed in Cincinnati, is not on the trip to St. Louis. Cueto went home to the Dominican Republic because of a family emergency.
"When he'll be back depends on when his family emergecny subsides," manager Dusty Baker said. "It's a pretty serious family emergency."
The Reds activated shortstop Orlando Cabrera. He is expected to be in the Cincinnati lineup on Saturday.
