After letting fans down, Blues have much to do
The new regime of Chairman Dave Checketts and President John Davidson has made a genuine effort to turn the franchise around, only to see their hard work negated by the team's shocking breakdown under coach Andy Murray. The Blues face a crucial offseason. They'll have to give the fans a reason to return in 2008-2009.

Don Cherry brought this up on ESPN. He said that Detroit ... responds to more physical play, implying that fans don't care for the team's current style. He also noted that the Lions, Pistons and Tigers are still selling out regularly.
