Is the "We Are Mizzou" YouTube video ready for prime time?
Apparently not, according to administrators at the University of Missouri.
KOMU.com is reporting tonight that ESPN wanted to feature the video on the "College GameDay" program before Saturday night's Missouri-Kansas game at Mizzou Arena. ESPN went so far as to offer the students in the video a contract to perform during the show.
But that didn't sit well with University officials, according to KOMU. The TV station reports that the school wants to stop the performance because the lyrics promote bad sportsmanship.
That has spurred quite a strong reaction from both sides on Twitter.
