When the St. Louis Rams sign QB Sam Bradford, it probably will mean the end of the season for offensive lineman Mark Setterstrom. He suffered a torn left triceps muscle during OTAs and underwent surgery.
"Mark is going to probably be on (injured reserve,)" coach Steve Spagnuolo said. "That’s the decision we ended up making. I don’t know when that will happen. But I would venture to guess we would go that way."
The Rams will need to clear a spot on the 80-man roster when Bradford signs.
Setterstrom was weathered a succession of injuries. He also suffered a season-ending left triceps injury in the next-to-last game of the 2009 campaign, Dec. 27 at Arizona, and needed surgery. He missed all but three regular-season games in the 2007 and '08 seasons with knee and kneecap injuries.
