Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said he saw Sam Bradford in the weight room in Norman earlier this week and said his former QB looked ready to go.
"I know he is anxious to get started," Stoops said at the Big 12 media day. "He doesn't know when it (contract) will all get taken care of, but he's ready.
"He was lifting weights and looked in great shape."
Stoops said Bradford had talked to him during the summer about his OTAs and mini-camps.
"He really likes how the Rams are setting him up and he feels good about it," Stoops said. "He's been able to pick it up pretty well."
Stoops wouldn't be surprised if Bradford didn't end up the starter before too long.
"I know there's a long way to go before the first game," Stoops said, "but that's plenty of time for him to show them."
