Wide receiver Danny Amendola got off the sideline and participated in team activities Thursday. He was officially listed as limited.
“We'll see how he is over the next couple of days,” coach Jeff Fisher said.
Amendola suffered a foot/heel injury against the Jets on Nov. 18, then was sidelined in a walking boot. Though he appeared in seven plays against the Cardinals on Nov. 25, he did not play last week in the victory over San Francisco.
Linebacker Mario Haggan also returned to the team portion of practice on a limited basis Thursday, wearing a brace on his right elbow.
Running back Steven Jackson was listed on the injury report as fully participating.
Not practicing Thursday were tight end Mike McNeill (thigh), center Scott Wells (knee) and center Tim Barnes, who was excused for personal reasons.
The Bills placed starting right tackle Chris Hairston (ankle) on injured reserved Thursday. Buffalo players not practicing were defensive end Mark Anderson (knee) and center Eric Wood (knee). Starting wide receiver Stevie Johnson (hamstring) an defensive tackle Kyle Williams (ankle) were upgraded to limited participation.
