No trades for Rams as deadline passes

The NFL trade deadline came and went Thursday, and no Rams player _ running back Steven Jackson included _ was traded, team sources told the Post-Dispatch.

"I was very aware of trade speculation and what was going on," Jackson said Thursday.

"One thing about me, and even going back to my (2008) holdout, I understand that this is a business. And if a particular team has options or is taking phone calls, it doesn't mean they want to get rid of me."
