Wide receiver Danario Alexander is staying with the St. Louis Rams, just not on the active roster.

The former University of Missouri star cleared waivers on Sunday and was quickly added to the Rams' practice squad.

So was center Drew Miller, who had a good camp and preseason for the Rams and for while looked like he had a chance to make the 53-man roster. 

Miller, who can also play guard, played his college ball at Florida.

Practice squad players can practice with the team, but cannot play in games.
